    Rampart & orange County Rescue

We were able to give sandals, oranges and shower the homeless on the Saturday's of 8/5 & 8/12.

Sandals and oranges were given out to the homeless at 2120 Rampart. In addition, the Showers of Blessings portable shower trailer is fixed and was up and running offering warm showers on both Saturday's. The remaining oranges were then brought to Mary's Kitchen & Orange County Rescue.

We would like to thank Rainbow® Sandals, Rainbow® Sandals Foundation, Eco Farms USA, Showers of Blessings, and Be Happy Living for donating the time, money, oranges and sandals to help those in need.

"Showers of Blessings graciously served the homeless community. Martha, along with other volunteers, prepared a delicious warm breakfast (eggs, rice, chicken, and potato salad). Thank you to Rainbow Sandals for providing the ministry with sandals so that they can be distributed to the people! And a huge thank you to all the volunteers; this wouldn't be possible without all the prayers and help we have been receiving!

Thank you to our recent donors, Norm and Enola from Eco Farms, Kevin Jun, Joshua Yi, The Berakah Ministry, Michael Koontz, Chaundra Gomer, Michael Kochan, Steve Salazar, Theo and Miriam Misaresh, Katie Ledesma, Young Park, and Perlee Tobias. Your generous donations and help goes unnoticed and is greatly appreciated!"

  • Pay it Forward

    Rainbow Sandals Pay it Forward

Featured here are this weekends oranges, grapefruits, tangerines and repaired and recycled Rainbow® Sandals to distribute to the homeless. Once again we'd like to thank Norm and Enola at Eco Farms for providing the produce and we would like to thank our customers who gave back their old sandals to our Repair • Reuse • Recycle program. This weekend we will go to the Showers of Blessings and Orange County Rescue Mission
The men, women and children who enter the gates of the Orange County Rescue Mission come from many walks of life and are all wounded in different ways. Some are highly educated, many are survivors of abuse, addiction and abandonment. None of these people ever imagined they’d be homeless and they all need our help. The people who come to them could be your neighbor, your coworker or perhaps a member of your own family.

    June 10, 2017 @ 2021 Rampart, Anaheim, CA 8:30 - 10:00
The Showers of Blessings were able to feed 98 people with breakfast.

  • Mission Trip to Peru

Dear Mr. Longley & Rainbow Sandals

"We have just returned from the annual mission trip to Piura, Peru with 50 students from JSerra Catholic High School. This year was particularly difficult time for the people of Piura due to a month of torrential rains prior to our arrival. Many of the homes were devastated where people lost all their belongings. With this, your generous donations couldn't have come at a better time.

Part of our mission was to rebuild homes, teach at the local schools, work at the orphanage and distribute donated items. As we distributed the Rainbow® Sandals, it was extraordinary to see the joy that these shoes brought the people. In addition, the people of Las Polverina village had been praying for a much needed church and their prayers were answered. With your generous monetary donation, a church was built by the JSerra students and dedicated to Rainbow® Sandals. In that same village, the students distributed many of the Rainbow® Sandals.

The students of JSerra and I thank you so much for your generosity."

"Today we were blessed with the ability to serve over 130 meals. We served at not only the Rampart encampment; but also, at the ever growing Chapman encampment. Unfortunately, the Showers were not rolled out this week because the truck that pulls it is in for maintenance. We will have them out and available next week."

    Michael Koontz,
    (Showers of Blessings)

Once again, we'd like to thank Eco Farms for letting us pick up avocados to give to Showers of Blessings who directly feeds, showers and helps the homeless every weekend.
