Smitten With The Kittens
Smitten With The Kittens is a 501(c)3 non-profit that began in 2020 and whose mission is to provide cat and kitten rescue and pet adoption in the Southern California area. Their rescue also provides support and seeks innovative solutions for the more local community where it finds a need. Despite efforts to have pets spayed and neutered each year and TNR (Trap Neuter Return), Smitten With The Kittens rescue and local shelters are overwhelmed with underage orphaned kittens. They are continually trying to lower the euthanasia rate of this group of pets at the shelters by taking kittens into their program. Smitten With The Kittens also takes in kittens directly from the Orange County area and supports the monthly OC Pet Food Pantry. Smitten With The Kittens is an all-volunteer organization, and the funds are raised from private donations and fundraising events. Rainbow® Sandals Foundation recently donated multiple family 4-pack sandal donations for their Meow Mixer Fundraiser silent auction and $5,000 to help their rescues.
