Millions of Bichon mix dogs acquired in 2020 due to the pandemic are returning to animal shelters at an alarming rate. Some Bichons are abandoned in the desert because their owner can't afford to bring them back to an animal shelter. Bichon Furkids Rescue rescues these dogs and pays for their medical bills and housing until they can find a suitable home. Rainbow Sandals Foundation is happy to help BKF to continue doing what they do.
