Rainbow® Sandals Foundation is proud to support the San Juan Hills High School AVID Program. This donation will fund field trips, student supplies, and AVID T-shirts for all 170 students.
AVID is a nationally recognized program that helps motivated high school students’ complete college-prep coursework to gain acceptance into 4-year colleges. Through guest speakers and field trips to local universities, AVID assists bright, average, and above-average students who seek to succeed but may need support with organization and study skills. Many participants are first-generation college students, though this isn't always the case. Students in AVID earn elective credits, replacing CCP or Geography classes.
