Rainbow Sandals is proud to support the San Clemente Lifeguard & Junior Guard Foundation.
We recently donated six gift cards for the raffle at their annual banquet, helping to celebrate and support the incredible work of our local lifeguards.
The Foundation is committed to promoting beach safety and education, building strong community partnerships, and securing resources for the San Clemente Marine Safety Division’s Lifeguard and Junior Lifeguard programs. It also plays a key role in preserving the rich history and legacy of lifeguarding in San Clemente.
Facts and Figures Each year, over 2.5 million people visit San Clemente’s beaches. To keep them safe, the city relies on a dedicated team of five full-time and 45 seasonal ocean lifeguards. Last summer alone, they performed:
• 2,686 rescues • 54,406 preventative contacts • 57,386 public education interactions • 1,184 first aid responses • 32,090 ordinance enforcement contacts
Most importantly, San Clemente experienced another summer with no lives lost—a true testament to their skill, vigilance, and dedication.
